In La Guadeloupe, in the south of Beauce, an orchard has grown where nature willed it. No perfect rows, no trees planted in a line. In the wild orchard of L’Enracinée Cidery, apple trees have sprouted freely, without human intervention, forming an ecosystem as untamed as it is generous.
A harmonious, living chaos that gives birth to exceptional ciders. It is here, at the heart of this untamed nature, that the father-son duo Alain and Simon Beauséjour draw their inspiration… and their fruit.
Come along as I explore L’Enracinée Cidery, a one-of-a-kind spot deeply rooted in the Chaudière-Appalaches terroir. Watch my feature aired on Téléjournal Québec on Friday, September 12, 2025.
