On his land located in the Granite RCM in Chaudière-Appalaches, actor Fabien Cloutier is preparing to plant several hundred pine trees inoculated with Appalachian truffle mycorrhizae.

The Appalachian truffle is a species of truffle native to North America, particularly in the Appalachian region.

Although less well-known than European truffles like the Périgord black truffle or the Alba white truffle, the Appalachian truffle is gaining attention due to its culinary qualities and potential in gastronomy.
